WMPRSA Announces 2021 PRoof Awards Virtual+ Experience
While we aren’t able to gather in person, WMPRSA is committed to maintaining the excitement and anticipation that comes with the annual PRoof Awards.
The 2021 PRoof Awards Virtual+ Experience is a time dedicated to showcasing the work of PR professionals throughout West Michigan, and for the first time, we are bringing this event to the comfort of your living room with a 75-minute taped program on June 10 at 6 p.m.
To make our virtual awards more memorable, we are introducing a signature drink and offering all attendees the opportunity to opt-in to pick-up a PRoof Swag Bag, packed with goodies from local West Michigan businesses, to enjoy during the show!
“21 PRoof Cocktail Kit”
Toast the wonderful work being recognized throughout the evening: the first 50 people to register will receive a complimentary “21 PRoof Cocktail Kit,” courtesy of Truscott Rossman and Let’s Stay Home Cocktail Kits. The Cocktail Kit will be included in the Swag Bag and will be available for pick-up at our pre-event.
Our cocktail kit includes all the fixings to create a tasty branded drink of the evening, the 21 PRoof cocktail, just add your preferred alcohol of choice. Our recipe features a delicious Blueberry Lavender syrup from Let’s Stay Home Cocktail Kits, a Lime Topo Chico mineral water, and a lime and lavender garnish.
If you weren’t able to snag one in time, but still want to enjoy the special 21 PRoof cocktail, don’t fret, you can download the drink recipe and grab a syrup from Bridge St. Market or Rebel.
Silent Auction
For the first time, WMPRSA is including a silent auction during the PRoof Virtual+ Experience. Kicking off the night of the show on June 10, attendees can bid on fabulous items and experiences, with all proceeds benefiting WMPRSA and PRoof.
The auction will have a number of fantastic items, ranging from locally made items to experience packages and will close on Thursday, June 17 at 4 p.m. Winners will be able to collect their items at the Trophy Drive-Thru event.
Pick-Up Events
Swing by on Tuesday, June 8 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for our Cocktail Kit and Swag Bag Pick-Up Pre-Event to get everything you need to tune in to PRoof from home!
Following the PRoof Virtual+ Experience, winners will be eligible to send a designated representative to collect the trophy during our Trophy Drive-Thru event taking place on Monday, June 21 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. During this time, silent auction winners also are invited to collect their items.
Both will be held at BlackTruck Media + Marketing at 255 Washington St SE in Grand Rapids. Enter/exit off Washington via the one-way road behind the building and a PRoof committee member will greet you at your car to check you in.
