PANELISTS

Rob Campbell

Rob Campbell is the Director of Data Science and AI for Corewell Health. With a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Rob began his career designing submarines for the US Navy. Realizing how much he enjoyed solving problems with data, Rob pursued his passion and received his Master’s degree in Analytics, joining Corewell Health in early 2020. Between his experience working for a defense contractor for close to a decade and the past several years in healthcare, Rob has significant experience navigating highly regulated industries and solving complex problems using data. He has firsthand experience building machine learning models and exploring creative ways to apply artificial intelligence in both a personal and professional capacity.

Jason Dodge

Jason Dodge is the Founder and CEO at search marketing firm, BlackTruck Media + Marketing. Combining nearly 20 years of industry experience with the efforts of holistic, human-centered thinking and technical search marketing tactics, Jason works alongside his team to assist brands with improving their online visibility through both organic search and paid media. His background and experience span both B2B and D2C verticals - from travel & hospitality, to global manufacturing, automotive aftermarket, and large healthcare systems. With a continued passion for the ever-evolving world of search, Jason is a regular contributor to industry publications, and works diligently to help educate others in the marketing and communications industry on the value that SEO brings to their brand.

Brian McLane

Brian McLane is the Senior Director for Customer Experience and Insights at Priority Health. Brian’s team provides the organization with insights into our customer and leads improvements in their experience. In his work, Brian’s goal is to simplify the complex world of health care through the use of data and analytics to engage members in their health care decisions. Brian has more than 20 years of experience in health care and 30 years of experience in management roles. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Northwood University and a Bachelor of History from Michigan State University.

Jessica Hewitt

Jessica Hewitt is a multidisciplinary designer, and the Creative Director at Wedge, a tech company focused on self-service video interviewing. In her role, Jessica oversees all visual aspects of Wedge, including marketing efforts, social media, event collateral, video creation, and more.  Jessica got her degree in Digital Communication from Calvin University, and has since pursued a variety of subjects including 3D generalism, UI design, video editing, and AI art.  She is also a hobbyist YouTuber

Laurence José, PhD

Laurence José holds a PhD in Rhetoric and Technical Communication from Michigan Tech University. She is an Associate Professor of Writing and serves as the Director of the Digital Studies minor at Grand Valley State University where she teaches classes in professional writing, visual rhetoric, and digital studies.
